Club Launches Winter Ice Prep Workshops
As winter approaches, Demo Curling Club is running a series of Ice Preparation Workshops open to members and community participants. The goal: teach how we manage ice conditions, planting pebbles, scraping, and maintaining optimal curl surfaces through the colder months.
Workshop details include:
- Hands-on training with our ice tech team
- Sessions on pebbler use, scraper techniques, and temperature control
- Demonstrations of water quality testing and ice resurfacing
- Q&A time plus guided observation during actual ice maintenance
