Welcome Evening Sparks Excitement for New Season

As the off-ice days wind down, Demo Curling Club hosted a Welcome Evening to kick off the 2024–25 curling season. Members, prospective curlers, and community guests were invited to tour the facility, mingle over snacks, and try out mini “trial ends” on the ice.

The event included:
- Facility tours showcasing our ice plant, lounge, and equipment areas
- Demonstration ends by club veterans to warm up the ice
- A casual Q&A session with club staff and volunteers
- Sign-up booths for leagues, junior programs, and volunteer opportunities

We were delighted to see strong turnout: dozens of new faces joined, longtime members reconnected, and enthusiasm filled the air. It’s a promising sign heading into the season.
