Our Team

Welcome to the heart and soul of Demo Curling Club—our team. These are the folks (real or imaginary) who keep stones sliding, spirits high, and events running. We hope this gives you a feel for how a club might present its people—with personality.

Leadership & Staff

  • Hurley Burley — Club President
Hurley is deeply committed to curling puns and community. They set the club’s direction, facilitate board meetings, and ensure everyone stays on (and off) the ice.

  • Gloria “Glide” McSweep — Operations Director
Glide oversees ice logistics, equipment, and facility maintenance. If the sheet looks smooth, thank Glide (or whisper a flattering comment—they like that).

  • Skip Stonehart — Programs & Membership Lead
Skip handles registrations, leagues, team placements, and member relations. He’s also the one reminding people to “sweep harder!” when needed.

  • Ivy Pebble — Communications & Events Coordinator
Ivy crafts newsletters, social media posts, and organizes bonspiels and socials. She’s got an eye for fun details and making everyone feel welcome.

  • Frosty Curlman — Ice Technician
Frosty makes sure the ice is consistent, safe, and curl-friendly. He’s part scientist, part artist, and part magician with a resurfacer.

Volunteer & Supporting Team

We wouldn’t be much without our energetic volunteers. Here are some of the (imaginary) people helping out:

  • Broomilda Sweeperson — League Scheduler
  • Chip N. Hack — Equipment & Inventory
  • Sally Stoneskip — Junior Program Mentor
  • Gale Windrick — Facility & Grounds Volunteer

These folks donate time, energy, and enthusiasm to help the club run smoothly.

Every real club’s “Our Team” page will look different. You might include photos, short bios, contact bits, or connectors to social media. But the goal is the same: humanize the club and show who’s behind the scenes.
